On November 6, 2020, Mikhail Oreshnikov, a member
of the neo-Nazi movement Misanthropic Division, was detained at the
Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, Indonesia, at the request of
the National Central Bureau of Interpol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of
Russia. He is charged with causing bodily harm. On November 28 Oreshnikov was released from jail and
flew to Kiev.
In Moscow, four competing nationalist organizing
committees were involved in preparations for the 4th of
November marches,
but none of them managed to secure permits from
the mayor’s office due to restrictions on mass
events imposed due to the epidemiological situation. As a result, the nationalists resorted to less traditional formats.
