On May 25-26, 2009, in Brussels, the SOVA Center, as a part of a group of Russian human rights NGOs, participated in the EU/Russian Federation human rights consultations. We publish the talking points of the SOVA Center representative.

We publish the SOVA Center's representative's report at the roundtable on combating anti-Semitism: :Current Trends and Challenges in the OSCE Region;, which took place on 17 March, 2009, in Vienna.

On February 4, 2009, in Geneva, the UN Human Rights Council's Universal Periodic Review Working Group reviewed the fulfillment of human rights obligations by the Russian Federation.

This collection of materials has been produced in August-September 2008 by a coalition of Russian NGOs for submission to the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the course of preparation of Universal Periodic Review of implementation of international obligations by the Russian Federation in the UN Human Rights Council. The materials have been prepared in accordance with the Office of the HCHR guidelines and include recommendations and references to more detailed reports and publications. We have published the full text of the shadow report "Compliance of the Russian Federation with the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination", produced by a group of Russian NGOs for the session number 73 of the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (Geneva, July 28 - August 15, 2008). The official report on the Russian Federation was examined on July 31 and August 4.
