On December 22, 2006 about 5 p.m. in Moscow there was an attempt to murder 20 year old Tigran, an antifascist, one of the creators of www.antifa.ru website. Coming out of the flat, Tigran saw the table on the radiator. His first intention was to remove it by himself, but he thought it strange, that the inscription was painted on a table instead of on the wall, and decided to call the police. Four policemen and a canine specialist with a dog came to the place. Policemen found wires and a tin with some white powder. They tried to clear the mine when it suddenly exploded, smashing the panes in the staircase and damaging the elevator's cabin.

All of the policemen were injured, two of them seriously (they might become blind). The dog is injured as well.

The friends of the antifascist believe the attack to be organized by nazi-skinheads. Tigran had been threatened before. First swastikas appeared in his staircase after he had traveled to St. Petersburg to the funeral of Timur Kacharava (an antifascist musician, murdered by neo-nazis on November 13, 2005 in St. Petersburg). Nazi-skinheads were repeatedly seen in his staircase. They were leaving offensive graffiti and threats on the walls and once they wrote: "Tigran, greetings to Timur".

The district prosecutor's office has opened a criminal investigation on the basis of article 213 (2) of Russian Criminal Code (hooliganism committed in a socially dangerous way). According to experts, the explosive used in this case is the same as the one used to explode the Cherkizov market in Moscow (the mixture of ammonia powder and glycerin).

The investigators reportedly have found three suspects, some 18 and 17 year-old neo-nazis.
