On October 13, 2013 mass riots erupted in the West Biryulyovo
district of Moscow. A crowd of local residents, including a group of football
fans and some members of a nationalist group, staged pogroms in the shopping
center “Biryuza” as well as at a vegetable warehouse. The violence was finally stopped
with a force of anti-riot police. The reason for the riot was the murder of
Egor Scherbakov by a person from the Caucasus or Central
Asia.
On September 15th
2013 in Saratov, members of a nationalist “people’s assembly” associated with
the activist group “Russian Joggers” organized what they called a “white tram”.
The

On September 27, activists from the group “Shield of Moscow” raided the
places of residence of many migrant workers in Kapotnya, a district in
south-eastern Moscow.
